Free for your whole team — while we polish it
The multi-player AI workspace for getting things done together — whether you're a team delivering a project or friends and family planning real life. Every thread produces a sourced decision — linked to the exact messages that produced it, and findable three weeks later.
No credit card. Self-serve. Free forever for the whole team.
You've felt all three. Most teams have stopped noticing them.
The Slack-search tax
You know the team agreed on it. You know it's in a thread. You're about to spend 20 minutes finding out who said what, and when.
The lost-rationale tax
The decision is logged. The reason isn't. Three months later, nobody can defend it — so the team re-litigates.
The propagation tax
A real decision got made. It never made it to Slack, the GitHub issue, the calendar, or the on-call. So now half the team is operating on the old plan.
AI-as-teammate without durable decisions is just chat. Decisions of record without an AI teammate is just a wiki. And neither survives an AI that forgets your workspace. The combination is the wedge.
Anchor A
Not a sidebar chatbot. Not a single-player ChatGPT tab. A multi-player real-time workspace where humans and AI teammates think together in the same thread, with shared context, presence, and turn-taking.
Anchor B
Every team thread produces a structured, sourced decision. Links back to the messages that produced it, forward to the artifacts it references, sideways to related threads — and (rolling out) outward to Slack, GitHub, Linear, calendar, and email.
Anchor C
The AI remembers the workspace, not just the chat. Past decisions, workspace rules, living artifacts, sibling threads — recalled and cited on every turn, so every answer is grounded in what the team already decided. On any device, nothing to copy over.
Four steps. About as long as a Slack huddle.
Invite teammates. State what you're trying to decide. The AI sees it from message one.
Workspace rules, sibling threads, past decisions, living artifacts — all in context. The AI participates; it doesn't just summarise.
Title, who agreed, why, and the exact messages that produced it. Append to the Decision Log. Status tracked.
Decisions propagate to the tools your team already uses — Slack channel, GitHub PR comment, Linear issue, calendar event, email summary. Slack first; rolling out through 2026.
Decisions, artifacts, and plans persist — organized and traceable to who decided what, when, and why. Collaborate live, or draw on the record later.
Every decision logged with title, rationale, status, and clickable source messages.
Documents, diagrams, checklists the AI updates in-thread. Versioned automatically.
The AI sees sibling threads by default. #thread-slug pulls full
context.
A rules.md for your team. The AI follows it on every turn.
Decisions propagate outward to the tools your team already uses. Slack first — rolling out through 2026.
Bearer-token JSON API. Markdown export of every thread, decision, and artifact.

No. Your conversations are not used to train Anthropic or Google models — we call the AI providers under commercial API terms with training opt-out enabled — and we never use them to train our own models.
Self-host is on the Enterprise roadmap. For now, the hosted product runs on AWS in Sydney (ap-southeast-2); EU/US regions follow with Enterprise launch.
Anthropic Claude is the default AI teammate, with an optional second teammate on Google Gemini so a workspace can run two AIs in parallel as advisors. (OpenAI is also supported in the platform but isn't currently enabled.)
Notion AI is a writing assistant inside a wiki. Slack AI summarises chat. ChatGPT Teams is a single-player tab with shared billing. Symphonate is a real-time multi-player workspace where AI is a peer, every thread produces a structured decision, and that decision propagates outward to your existing tools.
Yes. You can export every byte of your workspace as markdown + JSON via the public API, and request full deletion at any time. EU data residency lands with Enterprise.
HMAC token auth, bcrypt password hashing, TLS in transit, encrypted volumes at rest. Append-only audit log. SOC 2 Type II in progress (target Q4 2026). See our security 1-pager.
The Free tier is free forever. Teams that sign up before the Team tier launches will lock in early-supporter pricing for the life of their account.
One click. /api/v1/workspaces/:id/export returns a zip of every thread,
decision, and artifact as markdown. Bearer-token JSON endpoints for threads,
decisions, and artifacts are also live.
Email help@symphonate.ai and a human will get back to you. It's the fastest way to reach us for questions, bug reports, or account help.
