Free for your whole team — while we polish it

Where your team's
decisions actually live.

The multi-player AI workspace for getting things done together — whether you're a team delivering a project or friends and family planning real life. Every thread produces a sourced decision — linked to the exact messages that produced it, and findable three weeks later.

No credit card. Self-serve. Free forever for the whole team.

Same product, same promise — every thread ends in a sourced decision. See all three demos →

Three taxes every team pays

You've felt all three. Most teams have stopped noticing them.

The Slack-search tax

"Where was that decided?"

You know the team agreed on it. You know it's in a thread. You're about to spend 20 minutes finding out who said what, and when.

The lost-rationale tax

"Why did we choose X?"

The decision is logged. The reason isn't. Three months later, nobody can defend it — so the team re-litigates.

The propagation tax

"Did the team see this?"

A real decision got made. It never made it to Slack, the GitHub issue, the calendar, or the on-call. So now half the team is operating on the old plan.

Three anchors. One workspace.

AI-as-teammate without durable decisions is just chat. Decisions of record without an AI teammate is just a wiki. And neither survives an AI that forgets your workspace. The combination is the wedge.

Anchor A

AI as a teammate

Not a sidebar chatbot. Not a single-player ChatGPT tab. A multi-player real-time workspace where humans and AI teammates think together in the same thread, with shared context, presence, and turn-taking.

Symphonate on desktop: two teammates debate the launch channel while AI teammates Aimy and Aiden weigh in, in the same thread Symphonate on mobile: the same kind of live thread on a phone — three friends and two AI teammates picking trip dates

Anchor B

Decision system of record

Every team thread produces a structured, sourced decision. Links back to the messages that produced it, forward to the artifacts it references, sideways to related threads — and (rolling out) outward to Slack, GitHub, Linear, calendar, and email.

Symphonate on desktop: a logged decision in the Work rail linking five messages, with numbered provenance badges on the exact source messages Symphonate on mobile: a push notification confirms the decision was logged, above the launch-plan document in the thread

Anchor C

Shared memory

The AI remembers the workspace, not just the chat. Past decisions, workspace rules, living artifacts, sibling threads — recalled and cited on every turn, so every answer is grounded in what the team already decided. On any device, nothing to copy over.

Symphonate on desktop: Aimy answers grounded in shared memory, citing the PROJECT.md living artifact next to past decisions in the Work rail Symphonate on mobile: the workspace's shared memory on a phone — Aimy's shortlist artifact and the launched to-dos in the thread

How it works

Four steps. About as long as a Slack huddle.

  1. 1

Start a thread. Give it a goal.

Invite teammates. State what you're trying to decide. The AI sees it from message one.

  2. 2

Discuss. The AI knows your workspace.

Workspace rules, sibling threads, past decisions, living artifacts — all in context. The AI participates; it doesn't just summarise.

  3. 3

Decision auto-captures with rationale + source.

Title, who agreed, why, and the exact messages that produced it. Append to the Decision Log. Status tracked.

  4. 4

Posts outward. Nobody is the last to know. · rolling out

Decisions propagate to the tools your team already uses — Slack channel, GitHub PR comment, Linear issue, calendar event, email summary. Slack first; rolling out through 2026.

Built for teams that decide together

Memory your team can trust

Decisions, artifacts, and plans persist — organized and traceable to who decided what, when, and why. Collaborate live, or draw on the record later.

Decision Log

Every decision logged with title, rationale, status, and clickable source messages.

Living Artifacts

Documents, diagrams, checklists the AI updates in-thread. Versioned automatically.

Cross-thread awareness

The AI sees sibling threads by default. #thread-slug pulls full context.

Workspace Rules

A rules.md for your team. The AI follows it on every turn.

Slack · GitHub · Linear hooks Rolling out

Decisions propagate outward to the tools your team already uses. Slack first — rolling out through 2026.

FAQ

Is my data used to train AI models? +

No. Your conversations are not used to train Anthropic or Google models — we call the AI providers under commercial API terms with training opt-out enabled — and we never use them to train our own models.

Can I self-host Symphonate? +

Self-host is on the Enterprise roadmap. For now, the hosted product runs on AWS in Sydney (ap-southeast-2); EU/US regions follow with Enterprise launch.

Which AI providers do you support? +

Anthropic Claude is the default AI teammate, with an optional second teammate on Google Gemini so a workspace can run two AIs in parallel as advisors. (OpenAI is also supported in the platform but isn't currently enabled.)

How is this different from Notion AI / Slack AI / ChatGPT Teams? +

Notion AI is a writing assistant inside a wiki. Slack AI summarises chat. ChatGPT Teams is a single-player tab with shared billing. Symphonate is a real-time multi-player workspace where AI is a peer, every thread produces a structured decision, and that decision propagates outward to your existing tools.

Are you GDPR-compliant? +

Yes. You can export every byte of your workspace as markdown + JSON via the public API, and request full deletion at any time. EU data residency lands with Enterprise.

How do you handle security? +

HMAC token auth, bcrypt password hashing, TLS in transit, encrypted volumes at rest. Append-only audit log. SOC 2 Type II in progress (target Q4 2026). See our security 1-pager.

What happens to my workspace if pricing changes? +

The Free tier is free forever. Teams that sign up before the Team tier launches will lock in early-supporter pricing for the life of their account.

How do I get my data out? +

One click. /api/v1/workspaces/:id/export returns a zip of every thread, decision, and artifact as markdown. Bearer-token JSON endpoints for threads, decisions, and artifacts are also live.

How do I get help or contact the team? +

Email help@symphonate.ai and a human will get back to you. It's the fastest way to reach us for questions, bug reports, or account help.

Stop losing decisions to Slack.
